Document Courier

Hybrid - Detroit, MI

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: $17.50/hour which may be below your states minimum wage. Please take this into consideration when applying.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Document Courier to transport sensitive documents securely from point A to point B while maintaining a strict chain of custody. This role involves handling time-sensitive and confidential materials using FedEx, hand delivery, and other secure transport methods. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow security protocols precisely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport documents securely and efficiently while maintaining chain of custody records.
• Ensure proper handling, packaging, and delivery of sensitive documents.
• Use FedEx and other mailing services for document shipment when necessary.
• Perform hand deliveries with strict adherence to security and confidentiality guidelines.
• Verify and document each transfer to ensure accurate tracking.
• Communicate effectively with recipients and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Maintain logs and records of all document transfers.
• Adhere to company policies and legal regulations regarding document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in courier services, logistics, or document handling preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lift and carry packages as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Professionalism, reliability, and integrity in handling confidential materials.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $32,760 - $40,950.
