Description
The Construction Coordinator supports the execution of renewable energy projects by ensuring seamless communication, documentation, and logistics throughout the construction lifecycle. This role collaborates with internal teams, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Coordinate day-to-day project logistics, documentation, and administrative support for solar, HV and BESS construction projects.
Support field teams by managing the delivery and tracking of materials, tools, and equipment to ensure availability when needed.
Maintain and update project schedules, trackers, and reports in coordination with the Project Manager.
Assist with subcontracts including scope of work, exhibit preparation and compilation, and RFP process.
Helps build and maintain various project trackers including IRA compliance, commitments, employee hours, etc.
Review and organize subcontractor submittals, RFIs, daily reports, and timesheets.
Assist with permitting processes, inspection scheduling, and compliance documentation.
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items for construction-related meetings.
Track and manage project documentation, such as drawings, change orders, redlines, and quality control records.
Assists with supporting POs, NDAs, vendor setup, licensing support, etc. as directed.
Supports the project teams with Procore project build-out, including documents, inspection build-outs, setting up meeting templates, etc.
Monitor project site safety practices in coordination with the Safety Manager and help ensure corrective actions are logged and followed up on.
Support the onboarding and tracking of field personnel, ensuring compliance with training and credential requirements.
Interface with procurement, engineering, and accounting to ensure construction needs are met on time and within budget.
Complies with all company policies.
All other duties assigned or delegated.
Requirements
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, or Primavera) preferred.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Effective communication skills with both office and field personnel.
Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Education/Experience:
Associate degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field; bachelor’s preferred.
2+ years of experience in construction coordination, project administration, or field support—preferably in renewable energy, utilities, or infrastructure.
Familiarity with solar PV, HV, BESS, or other renewable EPC project environments a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Occasional lifting (up to 50 pounds), carrying, walking, and standing.
Frequent hand/eye coordination to operate computer keyboard and office equipment; vision for reading, recording and interpreting information; speech communication and hearing to maintain communication with employees and other team members.
When navigating a job site, the ability to move around project sites, which may involve walking, climbing stairs, and navigating uneven terrain.
Valid driver’s license.
Travel:
10-20% or as needed to support the construction teams.
Work Location:
Baxter, MN office.
