Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to drive our procurement, materials management, and logistics functions in a high-growth, scaling manufacturing environment. Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain performance, including purchasing, inbound logistics, inventory control, materials flow to operations, and outbound shipping. This position will be central to helping the organization transition from a reactive, transactional approach to a more structured, scalable supply chain model.
This role requires a leader who is equally comfortable doing the daily purchasing activities while simultaneously building a more disciplined, scalable supply chain function. You will lead a small team across shipping, receiving, and materials management, while also executing day-to-day buyer tasks. You will be responsible for developing a robust and structured supply chain process, while continuously reviewing data and trends to identify areas for improvement. You’ll have the opportunity to build long-term relationships with suppliers, treating them as partners critical to the growth and scalability of our business.
Working closely with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Production, and Finance, you will ensure materials availability aligns with demand, that priorities are clear, and that product flows efficiently from supplier, through production, to customer delivery. You must be able to balance urgency with judgment; knowing when to react in the moment and when to step back and improve the system. In short, this role must “run today while building tomorrow”.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the work, while also shaping how the work gets done. If you are motivated by building something better over time and enjoy doing tactical work to get there, this role is for you.
