Full Job Description
As a Behavior Technician, the incumbent will be responsible for providing daily, one-on-one ABA treatment services based on treatment plans and behavior plans developed by a BCBA and under the supervision of the PC and BCBA.
Essential Functions
- Adhere to the RBT standards in the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts (http://bacb.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/160321-compliance-code-english.pdf).
- Recognize and abide by boundaries of practice set forth in the BACB RBT Task List (http://bacb.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/160321-RBT-task-list.pdf).
- Provide individual ABA therapy services to Conduct Curb consumers diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Collect daily data on client behavior/goals and notes progress as directed.
- Address problem behaviors of clients: also assist fellow staff members in addressing problem behaviors of other clients (e.g., assist with safe physical management as requested and needed).
- Provide support to the Program Manager and BCBA when requested.
- Provide pertinent feedback to Program Manager and BCBA on client behavior, progress, concerns, needs, etc.
- Display leadership skills becoming of a professional therapist (e.g., remains positive, builds team morale, sets an example for best therapy practices).
- Assist in clinical observations of new/potential clients as requested.
- Assist in assessments by conducting direct testing when directed by Program Manager or BCBA.
- Direct parent questions/concerns to Program Manager or BCBA.
- Complete additional tasks assigned by the Program Manager or BCBA.
- Maintain client welfare and dignity.
- Abide by RBT handbook, task list and Code of Ethics (current edition)

Physical Demands
The Behavior Technicians may be required to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects on a regular basis, and/or do repetitive tasks with few breaks. Behavior Technicians may also be required to use various methods of safe physical management techniques to ensure the safety of Conduct Curb clients and staff.

Required Education and Experience
- Credentialed as Registered Behavior Technician or working towards certification.
- High school degree/diploma.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, childcare, education, psychology, healthcare or a related field.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must pass criminal and sexual abuse background checks.
- Must provide proof of clean TB and drug tests
