This position REQUIRES possession of a state Guard Card and Firearm Permit (training provided)

Applicants must be able to pass a federal background check and qualify for an armed security license

Swing Shift: Fri.-Sun. 2PM- 10PM -- Graveyard: Mon.- Tues. 10PM - 6AM

Position Overview: The Armed Security Officer is responsible for providing a high level of security and protection at designated client sites. This role involves patrolling, access control, incident response, and responsible firearm handling in accordance with Washington laws, licensing requirements, and industry standards. The officer acts as a visible deterrent to criminal activity, ensures safety, and maintains professionalism at all times.

Our company is looking for individuals who are dependable, honest, observant, optimistic, and driven problem solvers who lead by example and can work as a member of a team.

Must be able to work nights and weekends

Duties and Physical Requirements

• Provide security services at assigned site according to the site post order duty requirements
• Provide security services at a federal EPA laboratory
• Conduct frequent foot patrols, maintain accurate logs and reports
• Follow precise standard operating procedures, protocols and alert rosters
• Utilization of tour tracking software in the performance of daily duties
• Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
• Continuous physical effort that requires prolonged periods of walking, standing
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
• Other duties as assigned

Education and Certification Requirements

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

• Hiring immediately
• Experience with firearm safety and security operations preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to provide documentation showing authorization to work in the U.S.
• Employment is conditioned on successful completion of federal background check, drug screen and finger printing.
• If prior military, one must provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status upon job offer
