Full-Time | Hourly Non-Exempt
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
About the Role
Condor Cargo is seeking a Warehouse Screener Dispatcher to support our growing air cargo operation in Grapevine, Texas. This role combines cargo screening, dispatch coordination, and warehouse operations to ensure freight is screened, documented, routed, and delivered in compliance with TSA requirements while meeting customer and airline deadlines.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced air freight environment where compliance, accuracy, and customer service are critical to success.
Key Responsibilities
Dispatch & Logistics Coordination
- Dispatch outbound freight and coordinate carrier pickups.
- Schedule trucking activities to meet airport cut-off times and customer delivery requirements.
- Communicate shipment status and load information with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Match freight with appropriate transportation providers based on destination, timing, and capacity requirements.
- Monitor freight movement and ensure timely departures.
Cargo Screening & Compliance
- Screen cargo in accordance with TSA-approved procedures and company requirements.
- Maintain TSA chain-of-custody standards and screening documentation.
- Accurately document screening activities and maintain organized records.
- Support operational compliance and quality standards related to cargo screening activities.
Warehouse & Administrative Support
- Create, review, and verify documentation for outbound shipments.
- Perform WMS data entry, freight tracking updates, and barcode scanning.
- Provide customer support related to freight status, delivery schedules, and shipment coordination.
- Assist with freight staging, warehouse operations, and general cargo handling activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience in a transportation, logistics, warehouse, or freight environment.
- TSA cargo screening experience.
- Knowledge of TSA, CCSF, and air cargo compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and standard business applications.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Air freight, cargo handling, or freight forwarding experience.
- Experience with WMS, TMS, freight tracking systems, and barcode scanning equipment.
- Forklift experience.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and freight handling.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
