Concrete Specialist is a family-owned business that has been servicing our community for over 45 years.
We are seeking a highly experienced Diesel & Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in our recently expanded maintenance facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of trucks and heavy equipment.

What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance and machine inspections
- Diagnose and troubleshoot gas and diesel engine issues
- Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs
- Determine necessary parts and tools required for repairs
- Complete service and maintenance documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Equipment You'll Work On
- Light and heavy-duty trucks
- Class 8 diesel trucks
- Excavators
- Loaders
- Skid steers
- Small engines
- Construction and heavy equipment
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy truck, diesel, and heavy equipment repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Ability to maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record
- Flexible work hours as business needs require
Preferred Qualifications:
- Annual DOT Inspection experience
- Brake Certification
- A/C Certification
- Hydraulic systems experience
- JPRO Diagnostic Software experience
- Class 8 Diesel Mechanic experience
- Duramax engine experience
- Heavy equipment preventative maintenance experience
Schedule
- Monday through Saturday
- Typical workday: 8–10 hours
- Weekend overtime opportunities available
