Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area for Concrete Field Technicians and Special Inspectors. In this role, you will perform on-site inspections and material testing, ensuring that construction projects meet required standards and compliance regulations. Key responsibilities include concrete and soil testing, performing special inspections, and collaborating with various project stakeholders. The role involves working closely with field inspectors, engineers, and construction teams to ensure quality and safety throughout project execution.
Qualifications
- Experience with concrete and soil testing, masonry, structural steel, mechanical inspections, and vibration monitoring, ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician, ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector and/or ICC Structural Masonry Inspector Required.
- Knowledge of TR1 and TR8 special inspections
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on-site within the NYC metropolitan area
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid certifications and licenses appropriate for field inspections
- Reliable means of transportation
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field a plus
Compensation and Benefits
Concrete solutions offers a competitive salary commensurate with position experience. Expected Range for these positions are $25 - $55/hr.
