Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Concrete Laborer, based in Tampa, FL. The Concrete Laborer will be responsible for assisting with concrete preparation and installation tasks, including setting formwork, operating heavy equipment, pouring and finishing flatwork, and handling ready-mix concrete. The role also requires collaboration with the team to ensure quality and safety standards are met on every project. Candidates will help maintain tools and equipment and ensure the worksite is kept organized and safe.
Qualifications
- Experience with formwork and carpentry, showcasing the ability to construct and dismantle molds and frameworks for concrete.
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and tools commonly used in concrete installation projects.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with flatwork processes, including pouring, leveling, and finishing concrete surfaces.
- Familiarity with ready-mix concrete and its application for various projects.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper handling of equipment and materials.
- Prior experience in the concrete or construction industry is preferred but not mandatory.
