We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to work in our Quality Control Department. In this role, the employee’s responsibility is to assist operations and sales in providing our customers with a quality product within the project specifications. The employee will be tasked with performing physical testing of concrete mixtures, aggregates, and monitoring concrete placements at job sites. Employees will also be responsible for determining the proper adjustments to mixtures either batched out of tolerance or whether the concrete should be disposed. The main responsibility of this position is to protect Concrete Enterprises from claims and back-charges due to poor quality.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Testing plastic properties of freshly batched concrete
- Monitoring batching of concrete
- Monitoring concrete placement on job sites
- Reporting on duties
- Other duties, as assigned by leadership.
- GDOT Batcher and Technician certifications
- ACI Concrete Field Tech Grade 1
- Able to work long and off hours schedule
- Able to lift 100 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks regularly
- Able to communicate, verbal and written
- Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol pre-placement exams and annual random checks
- Basic computer skills
