We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces, ensuring smoothness, levelness, and proper texture according to project specifications
- Operate power tools and hand tools such as trowels, floats, edgers, and screeds to achieve precise finishes
- Install rebar and formwork in preparation for pouring concrete, adhering to blueprints and schematics
- Use concrete mixers and pumps efficiently to ensure proper mixture consistency and timely placement
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute tasks accurately
- Perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment as needed for concrete placement and site preparation
- Conduct repairs, touch-ups, and restoration work on existing concrete surfaces during renovation projects
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, welders, and other trades to coordinate project activities effectively
Qualifications
- Proven experience in concrete finishing, masonry, or related construction roles with a strong understanding of concrete forming and curing processes
- Mechanical knowledge including operation of power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete pumps
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or walking on construction sites
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and construction site hazards
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively across different trades
