Concrete Project Manager / Estimator

Job Description

Concrete Design of KC is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager to take the lead on project cost estimating and management for our concrete business. This position will lead from the front of the organization and have a strong presence externally and internally through guidance, leadership and experience.

Estimator / Project Manager responsibilities include analyzing project requirements, identifying cost-efficient solutions, managing project resources and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met on schedule.

In project management, effective customer relations involve prioritizing client satisfaction, building strong relationships, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. This means understanding client needs, providing regular updates, involving them in decision-making, and promptly addressing their concerns.

Ideal candidates should be experienced in cost estimation, project management and have an extensive knowledge of concrete processes and materials

The goal of the Estimator / Project Manager is to accurately predict project costs and successfully manage projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates of proposed projects based off plans or blueprints

• Manage all phases of the project, from conceptual designs, through final construction

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors and other project stakeholders

• Develop project strategies to ensure project goals are met

• Oversee contract administration and quality assurance

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

• Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion

• Prepare and present regular project reports to management

• Manage project resources efficiently

• Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Estimator / Project Manager in the concrete industry

• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in project management software tools

• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Impeccable client relationship building
