- Schedule Management: Creating and managing daily and weekly schedules for clinical staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels based on client needs, preferences, and availability.
- Client & Caregiver Communication: Effectively communicating schedule updates, changes, and important information to clients, families, and clinical staff.
- Problem Solving & Adaptability: Responding proactively to last-minute changes, call-offs, and urgent client needs, finding efficient solutions to maintain continuity of care.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintaining accurate records of schedules, authorizations, and client information within the scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) systems, adhering to all HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the Clinical Manager, Intake team, and other staff members to coordinate admissions, initial visits, and ensure smooth transitions of care.
- Customer Service: Demonstrating a strong focus on customer service, ensuring all interactions are professional, empathetic, and patient-centered.
- Personable & Empathetic: A friendly and positive demeanor with exceptional interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients and caregivers.
- Highly Organized: Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail to manage complex schedules and multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong Communication: Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse individuals.
- Problem-Solver & Proactive: Ability to anticipate potential scheduling conflicts and find innovative solutions to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using scheduling software and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and home health care operations is a plus.
