Quality & Compliance Educator (RN)

Concordia Hospice of Washington is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Educator (RN) to join our team. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating compliance with government and corporate regulations while overseeing our Quality Assessment Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.

Position Overview
The Compliance and Quality Supervisor is a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) who ensures the organization maintains compliance with federal and state regulations, corporate policies, and hospice standards. This role leads QAPI activities, monitors performance metrics, and provides ongoing education to staff to support quality patient care.
Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee compliance with hospice regulatory standards

Lead and manage QAPI activities and performance improvement initiatives

Monitor quality indicators and ensure corrective action plans are implemented as needed

Educate clinical staff on regulatory updates, quality expectations, and best practices

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to compliance and quality

Collaborate with leadership to strengthen processes and patient outcomes
Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred

Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience required

Minimum of two (2) years of hospice experience with strong knowledge of hospice regulatory standards required

Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and hospice-specific quality programs

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, especially in staff education related to quality outcomes and expectations

Reliable, independent means of transportation with a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license and minimum required state vehicle insurance
