Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Full Time

Located in Ligonier, PA, Concordia at Bethlen is seeking a FULL TIME Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is responsible for providing occupational therapy services to residents as prescribed by the attending physician under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed (OTR/L). Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA): Assisting with the resident’s plan of care with respect to OT treatment. Contributing to developing, and modifying, individualized resident treatment plans. Conducting resident treatment sessions and reporting reponses. Contributing to comprehensive resident evaluations. Contributing to supervision of occupational therapy students, aides, or volunteers. Completing timely documentation. Committing to and maintaining high ethical standards and complies with the Code of Conduct. Qualifications of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA): Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant curriculum approved by the American Occupational Therapy Associates Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Two years long term care or rehabilitation experience preferred CPR certification strongly preferred and encouraged Why work for us?
