Air Export Agent/Warehouse Clerk

We are seeking a dedicated, full-time, hardworking Air Export Agent who will thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to be hybrid office/warehouse employee.

Responsibilities

• Understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
• Have the capability to process air shipments.
• Review country specific export documentation requirements.
• Assure that the airport transfer pouch contains all necessary document copies in correct sequence.
• Provide the overseas offices and agents with pre-alerts and uplift information in a timely manner.
• Processing and preparing both HAWB’s
• Receive and document, handle cargo with the use of a forklift, pallet jack, etc.

· Verify and document the count and condition of cargo received.

· Accurately label freight to destination.

· Re-pack or re-palletize freight as needed according to instructions provided.

· Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

· Handle TSA Screening activities on a daily basis

Key Skills & Qualifications

· 2 years experience preferred.

· High school diploma/GED required. College degree is a plus

· Must have time management skills and the ability to multi-task.

· Strong communication in telephone, email, and interpersonal skills.

· Responsible for adhering to customs regulations and procedures.

· Must be able to comply with all TSA regulations as Concordia is a CCSF.

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.

· Basic computer skills and standard PC application skills required. .

· Must have experience loading cargo on proper platforms.

· Hazardous goods handling certification a plus.

· Forklift driver certification required; valid state issued driver’s license required.

· Interpersonal and communication skills.

· Must be able to read, write and speak English.
