RNAC / LNAC - (Part - Time) Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, complete, and submit MDS assessments in compliance with CMS and state regulations
- Ensure accuracy of assessments to support appropriate reimbursement (Medicare/Medicaid)
- Monitor and manage assessment schedules, ARDs, and transmission timelines
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, dietary, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in care plan development and updates
- Review clinical documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Assist with audits, surveys, and regulatory compliance as related to MDS
- Provide education and support to nursing staff regarding documentation and assessment processes
- Communicate changes in resident condition impacting assessments or reimbursement
- Current RN or LPN/LVN license in good standing
- Previous experience as an RNAC/LNAC or strong MDS experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient computer and documentation skills
