Job Description:The Part-Time Makerspace Instructor will engage with students across different age groups and educational backgrounds, fostering an environment that encourages experimentation, innovation, and critical thinking. They will work closely with Concorde Education's Curriculum Development Team to design and deliver lessons that are aligned with the custom-tailored curriculum. Responsibilities:Curriculum Delivery: Implement and adapt Concorde Education's custom tailored curriculum for makerspace activities, ensuring alignment with relevant educational standards.Technology Management: Operate, maintain, and provide training on various makerspace tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, and other fabrication tools.Student Engagement: Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment, enabling students to work on individual and group projects.Assessment and Feedback: Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback, making necessary adjustments to meet individual learning needs.Professional Development: Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to stay abreast of the latest trends in makerspace technologies and pedagogical approaches.Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and guidelines within the makerspace, including proper usage of tools and equipment.Collaboration: Work closely with school staff and Concorde Education's team to ensure seamless integration of makerspace activities within the overall educational program.
