Location: On-site at a partner school (varies by assignment)Schedule: 1–4 hours per week, after schoolProgram Length: ~10 weeksStart Date: Rolling openings based on school schedulesCompensation: $50 per instructional hour (flexible based on experience, program, and commute)About the RoleConcorde Education is seeking a Dungeons & Dragons Instructor to lead engaging, story-driven after-school sessions for students. This program uses collaborative gameplay to build communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity in a structured, school-appropriate environment.The instructor (Dungeon Master) will guide students through age-appropriate adventures while fostering inclusive participation and positive group dynamics.What You’ll TeachStudents will learn the fundamentals of tabletop role-playing through guided gameplay, including:Character creation and storytellingGame mechanics and decision-makingProblem-solving and strategic thinkingCollaboration, communication, and teamworkCreative thinking and improvisationGroup-based storytelling and adventure progressionResponsibilitiesLead structured, engaging D&D sessions for small to mid-sized groupsGuide collaborative storytelling and ensure all students participatePrepare simple session plans (adventures, encounters, materials as needed)Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed environmentAdapt gameplay to student skill levels and group dynamicsCommunicate with site staff and track attendance/session completionQualificationsMinimum of 60 college creditsExperience running Dungeons & Dragons or similar tabletop gamesExperience working with kids or teens (teaching, camps, after-school, etc.)Strong facilitation and group management skillsReliable, professional, and comfortable in a school settingAbility to keep content age-appropriate and inclusiveWho This Role Is Great ForTeachers or aspiring educatorsExperienced Dungeon Masters or tabletop gamersWriters, creatives, or improv enthusiastsAnyone who enjoys storytelling and working with students
