In this role, you’ll introduce students to 3D modeling using Tinkercad, helping them build creativity, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving skills through project-based learning.This is a short-format enrichment program designed to be interactive, fun, and accessible for beginners, while still allowing room for creativity and more advanced learners.What You’ll TeachStudents will learn how to design and build 3D models using Tinkercad, including:Creating, resizing, and manipulating 3D shapesAligning, grouping, and combining objectsUsing measurements and designing with precisionApplying basic design thinking and prototyping conceptsExporting designs (and preparing for 3D printing when applicable)ResponsibilitiesLead engaging, hands-on 3D design sessions for small to mid-sized student groupsGuide students through structured projects while encouraging creativityAdapt lessons to different skill levelsFoster a positive, inclusive classroom environmentCommunicate with site staff and track attendance/session completionQualificationsMinimum of 60 college creditsExperience with Tinkercad or similar 3D design toolsExperience working with kids or teens (teaching, tutoring, camps, etc.)Strong communication and classroom management skillsReliable, professional, and comfortable in a school settingWho This Role Is Great ForTeachers or aspiring educatorsCollege students (engineering, design, architecture, etc.)Designers, makers, or STEM professionalsAnyone who enjoys working with students and building creative projects
