What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Maintenance position at Concorde Battery Corporation?
Concorde Battery Georgia Corporation is looking for a driven candidate to fill the position of Entry Level Maintenance. All tools will be provided as well as in-house training. Successful candidate will perform routine and non-routine repair and maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment under the Maintenance Supervisor and senior personnel. Candidate will work within established procedures and processes and have a safety-first mindset. - Assists with basic maintenance assignments involving but not limited to preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. clearing system jams, and cleaning.
- May diagnose equipment failures under the guidance of senior personnel; ensures equipment is running safely.
- Reads and interprets repair manuals, basic schematics and supervisor/manager's instructions.
- Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.
- Follows structured preventative maintenance schedule.
- Exercise discretion to identify projects that need higher skilled individual's services.
- Comply with all health and safety procedures and processes such as wearing a respirator in certain departments.
- Completes all safety training as assigned by the company.
- Ability to use basic hand/power tools and material handling equipment while ensuring OSHA regulations are met.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
- Ability to multi-task, take instruction and follow through until the job is completed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work in hot and cold environments.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Willing to work overtime when needed.
- High School Degree or GED.
- Read, write and speak in English.
- 1-year experience in general maintenance required.
- Candidate must have a valid driver's license.
- Must complete pre-employment physical/drug screen.
