Concordant LLC is seeking a senior-level IT Programmer with extensive full-stack experience across COBOL, .NET, database, and enterprise environments. This role supports a mission-critical, multi-tier system and requires strong analysis, development, troubleshooting, and DevSecOps skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and maintain COBOL, web service, batch, and multi-tier business applications
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and propose effective, maintainable solutions
- Code, test (including comprehensive non–happy-path testing), and promote releases
- Work with UI tiers (.NET), middleware, and SQL/Oracle database tiers
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and provide regular status updates
Required Skills
- 8–10 years full-stack system development in complex, mission-critical 3-tier environments
- Strong DevSecOps skills including release management, broad testing practices, and collaboration
- MicroFocus Visual COBOL development using Visual Studio 2019/2022 on Windows Server 2022 under IIS
- Application programming with Oracle and MS SQL Server
- Crafting effective SQL statements for enterprise applications
Preferred Skills
- MicroFocus Visual COBOL V7, V9, or higher
- Experience with .NET (VB.NET and/or C#.NET)
- Experience with TFS, IIS configuration, and enterprise debugging
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with 8 years of experience,
OR
- 10 years of relevant experience without a degree

Pay: $43.78 - $64.43 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
