What are the responsibilities and job description for the After Care Teacher position at Concord W.E.E. School?
The Assistant Teacher is an extension of the After Care Director and should be prepared and eager to help in any way. Hours are 1:45 pm to 5:00 pm.
Duties include, but are not limited to, interacting with children and their parents positively and supportively, managing safety and supervision of children and space. lead/aid with class activities as directed by the After Care Director, prepare supplies for the month/day’s activities, change diapers and assist with toileting, clean tables/sweep floors between activities, prepare snacks, assist with closing school for the day, and communicating positively with co-workers to promote a healthy team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with young children
- Should be compassionate, patient, and have a strong desire to nurture children physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Flexible and adaptable
- Reliable
- Maintain a personal life that honors Jesus Christ

Expected hours: 15 – 16 per week
