The Fine Gardener is a position with Leadership responsibilities of other laborers (1-2) and fine landscapes throughout Greater Boston. As a Fine Gardener, you are accountable for managing the outdoor spaces of our clients residential and high-end commercial gardens. The Fine Gardener, is the single point of contact for all horticultural services at your assigned properties.
The primary objective of the Fine Gardener position is to offer an exceptional relationship with our clients while managing the outdoor spaces we create for their enjoyment. You are also required to record and track key garden inputs and results in a landscape portfolio for each property under your care. You’ll be tasked with demonstrating effective efficient care, based on best management practices within the framework of a documented landscape management plan individualized for each property owner and their discrete landscape. Proactively ensuring all work meets the expectations of our clients and the goals set for each property.
The Fine Gardening position requires a mix of hands-on gardening and leadership within our organization and those of our strategic partners. You’ll be part of a young organization of enthusiastic, helpful, nice people that support and care for each other, our client’s, their gardens, and our firm. You will be part of a founding team within our organization with opportunity for advancement. We are a 12-year-old landscape design, build, and maintenance firm venturing into the fine gardening space to meet needs requested by our clientele. Fine Gardening Requirements:
- Empathetic and results oriented

- Horticulture including:
pest control (weed insect and disease IPM)
Pruning naturalistically (familiarity with fruit-bearing plants a plus)
Fertilization (organics and synthetics)
Basic soil agronomy
