We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of accounts payable and month end close experience. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of elements related to the accounts payable function, supervising the day-to-day activities in a fast-paced company and working with the accounting team to scale the function. Essential Functions:

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will play a key role in our accounting team, reporting to the Accounting Manager. You’ll be responsible for supervising the accounts payable function, supporting the month-end closing process, and contributing to process improvements as our business grows. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and help scale our accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Supervise accounts payable staff, systems and files
• 
  Prepare ACH and check disbursement batches for processing along with the associated voucher packets
• 
  Prepare the employee expense reimbursement batches
• 
  Maintaining excellent third-party vendor relationships
• 
  Reconciling the accounts payable subledger to the general ledger and vendor accounts
• 
  Conducting month-end and year-end closing procedures
• 
  Preparing related tax filings (e.g., IRS Form 1099)
• 
  Participate in responding to the year-end audit requests and providing required documentation
• 
  Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed

Position Requirements:

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 
  5 years of progressive accounts payable experience, preferably in a software or technology company
• 
  3 years of supervisory or management experience required
• 
  Experience with NetSuite and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• 
  Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 
  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• 
  Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as collaboratively

Compensation Range: $85,000 - $105,000. Range can flux dependent on experience, education/training, etc.
