What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intensive Instructional Assistant position at Concord School?
The Kingdom East School District, Student Services, is seeking a full time Intensive Instructional Assistants (IIA) assigned to work at Concord School in classrooms ranging from early childhood to middle school (ages 3-14). The candidates must be energetic and love working with children. The IIA position's purpose is to develop and interpret individual needs of our students in the classrooms and support students with special needs by helping to create and implement behavior and/or instructional support programs in consultation with the grade level special educator and classroom teacher. Candidates must successfully complete the ParaPro assessment or have an associates or higher degree. The IIA provides observable student data that meets the Early childhood classroom goals or the IEP Program goals of students with developmental delay and/or other special needs. Position will target goal-directive services to assist students in accessing instruction in a developmentally appropriate, functional and independent manner. Background check, including fingerprinting required upon employment. The pay range for this position is currently $19.95/hr.-$25.80/hr.
