IMMEDIATE OPENING – SAME WEEK INTERVIEWS
Concord Ridge, a newly remodeled skilled nursing facility in Mentor, OH, is currently seeking an experienced Full Time, Medical Records/Central Supply person to join our dedicated management team.
This position is responsible for the following:
- Assure that all medical record information is protected and kept confidential.
- File medical records accurately.
- Retrieve medical records promptly upon request by authorized individuals and agencies.
- Mail forms to physicians, for completion, to the extent permitted by regulations.
- Notify Administrator of all requests for information from medical records.
- Answer correspondence regarding release of information from medical records.
- Prepare records in answer to subpoenas.
- Assist with quality assessment and assurance studies.
- Adhere to all facility policies & procedures and ensure they are adhered to by all responsible
parties and carry out disciplinary action for non-compliance as appropriate. - Ensure adherence to the Corporate Integrity Program and the Performance Expectations at all
times. - Perform other related duties as directed by direct supervisor and/or person of authority.
- Be responsible for collecting data on the amount of supplies needed from the facility
employees as directed. - Identify type and amount of each item to be stocked within the facility ordering processes.
- Maintain supplies in a neat, clean and organized manner.
- Keep accurate, organized records of the type and amount of supplies received.
- Receive incoming supplies and verify with original purchase order.
- Send invoices to business office promptly for payment.
- Report all problems with ordering and obtaining supplies promptly to administration.
