We are Hiring for a Head Teacher – A Head Teacher Certificate is required!!!
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Concord Preschool has been a leader in our early childhood education community since 1956. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment. As a Preschool Teacher in our center, you will need to be committed to creating meaningful relationships with children and families while inspiring the children to be lifelong learners.
- Attending to the needs of all children in the classroom
- To interact with the children and encourage their involvement in preschool activities.
- To ensure the safety of each child, and prepare a warm, safe environment that is orderly and clean
- To prepare lesson plans and materials needed for the program.
- To assist the children with activities and projects during preschool and monitor the children during free play in the classroom.
- To take the children outside daily. To assist the children while using indoor and outdoor large motor equipment.
- To establish and maintain good communication with parents.
Required Skills and Experience:
We are Hiring for a Head Teacher – A Head Teacher Certificate is required!!!
· A MUST: DE First Teacher Qualification (Certificate) for Head Teacher or possess an active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or TECE 2
- A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference in a child’s life.
- 1-2 years Early Childhood Education Experience(preferred) but not required
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
- Must meet the State of Delaware specific guidelines for the role
- Must be background checked before starting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
