What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oncology - Radiation Physician position at Concord Physicians Solutions?

Seeking a Radiation Oncologist (MD / DO) for locum coverage on select dates between April and July 2025 . This role involves both inpatient and outpatient care , working within a well-equipped cancer center with full staff support.

Position Details

Location : Cheyenne, WY
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM 4 : 00 PM (No weekends except for emergencies)
Call Schedule : Sunday-Sunday, 8 : 00 AM 8 : 00 AM (Clinic call & inpatient call during clinic hours)
Coverage Dates :
April 28 May 3, 2025
May 25 June 7, 2025
June 22 July 3, 2025
Patient Load : 25-35 patients under treatment daily (varies between two providers), 2-3 consults per day on average
Setting : Inpatient & Outpatient

Requirements

Active Wyoming Medical License or IMLC eligibility

Up-to-date CDS and DEA certification

Experience with radiation oncology procedures and treatment planning systems

Support & Equipment

Staff : 5 radiation therapists, 2 RNs, 2 dosimetrists, 1 physicist

Technology :

Varian True Beam & Vital Beam

IMRT, 3D, SBRT, and SRS

MOSAIQ Record & Verify

MEM / METSRO for contouring

Auto contouring

Eclipse treatment planning system
