Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide you will assist in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing physical therapy treatments. Duties:
- Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the therapist
- Perform clerical tasks such as answering phones, taking co-pays, and general filing.
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
Skills:
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to physical therapy
- Understanding of patient care techniques and practices
- Familiarity with human anatomy and physiology
- Experience in a patient care setting and related education is required
