What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Secretary position at Concord Pediatrics, P.A.?
Our independent pediatric practice is looking for a new team member/secretary with great communication skills who enjoys working in a fast paced environment. Your ability to adapt to changing situations and manage multiple tasks efficiently is required.
Full Time Position - Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm (some days 7;30-4) as well as one Saturday morning per month on a rotating basis from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.

Responsibilities: Works collaboratively with two other medical secretaries to perform the following tasks. Other tasks may be assigned.
- Check in patients including verifying demographics, insurance information as well as collecting co-pays and balances
- Answer telephones, schedule appointments, handle insurance referral requests and other clerical duties
- Managing patient records, new family registrations, transfers and referrals to specialties
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school graduate with a minimum of 1 year relevant experience, medical office preferred, but customer service a must.
- Ability to interact with providers, staff and patients in a positive and effective manner is a must
- Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, customer service, time management and typing/computer skills a must.
- Starting salary is based upon experience
