As the Royalties Payable Coordinator, you'll be responsible for royalty accounts payable, reconciliation of royalty statements to sub-systems and ensuring payments are made in line with the contract.
Responsibilities
What you'll do:
- Enter royalty bills and bill credits from royalty processing system
- Prepare quarterly payment runs in line with contractual payment terms
- Review tax forms (W-9 & W-8BEN) for royalty vendors
- Review and maintain royalty vendor information in accounting system
- Reconcile royalty statements to balances in the finance system and royalty processing systems
- Calculate and record royalty client VAT and WHT amounts where applicable
- Prepare out-of-cycle royalty payments as requested
- Provide assistance with royalty client inquiries
- Assist with other projects as needed
Qualifications
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience required
- 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in Accounting/Finance/Royalties department preferred
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to stay organized and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (V-lookups, pivot tables, formulas, data filtering and formatting)
- Prior experience working with NetSuite, Jira, iMaestro a plus
This position is full-time and paid on an hourly basis.
*This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days minimum on-site.
