Locksmith Road Technician – MINIMUM 2 YEARS COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE

78 years family-owned business with excellent reputation seeking a Locksmith Road Technician to provide commercial, residential and automotive locksmith services to our client base using our provided equipment, tools and van. We are fast paced and team driven and are looking for someone with at least 2 years of previous commercial locksmith experience. Our hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 5:00 pm with possible Saturdays available.

We require punctuality, professional appearance, and a clear head for work. You will be working directly with customers and must arrive ready to perform your necessary duties safely.

You must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check to obtain a Locksmith License if you don’t already have one; and have a good DMV record. DMV history may be reviewed and discussed in the interview.

You must have the ability to handle difficult customers with patience, professionalism and composure. You must have the ability to handle a flexible workday and follow company procedures.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to fluently understand, speak and write English

· Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist and pull

· Ability to climb a ladder and work above ground with a safety harness (on rare occasions)

· Withstand external weather conditions year-round

Since 1947, Concord Locksmith has been serving the greater Bay Area's locksmith needs. We provide services ranging from key duplication, residential lock repairs and re-keys, to vehicle programming of keys, commercial lock repairs, retrofits, fresh installs, master key systems, access control systems and electrified hardware.

Your Duties

· Identify client needs and be able to clearly communicate our solutions and carry them out

· Pick, rekey, repair and fit keys to commercial and residential lock hardware

· Troubleshoot, repair and install all commercial door hardware including but not limited to panic devices, electric strikes, door closers, full length latch guards, keypad locks

· Comprehend and generate multi-level master key systems

· Walk sites to assess needs and provide estimates to clients, this includes researching and ordering hardware

· Follow company procedures on job sites and in documentation to ensure smooth daily operations

· Knowledge of Automotive, Access Control Systems and Safes is a valuable advantage
