Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down the bar, including locking up liquor and properly storing fruit and juices.
- Accept drink orders from guests and servers in proper calling order.
- Prepare cocktails according to Beverage Standards using standard jigger.
- Follow all check handling procedures, including credit card policies (no cash tabs).
- Complete all opening and closing duties as listed on the checklist.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of glassware, ice stations, and floors.
- Steam-clean trashcans and manage soda and juice inventory rotation.
- Stock and replenish bottled and kegged beer as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in upscale lounges, restaurants, or hotels.
- Knowledge of mixology and standard drink recipes.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Must be able to lift and carry moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with POS systems and check handling procedures.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
