What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety and Environmental Manager position at Concord Foods LLC?
The Safety/Environmental Manager will serve as a hands-on leader, actively engaging with facility teams and building strong, trust-based relationships with site leadership to champion a top-down safety culture across Concord Foods. This role is not confined to an office, it thrives on the floor, in daily operations, and in direct collaboration with both frontline employees and senior leaders.
Key responsibilities include driving the strategic direction of safety and environmental programs while ensuring that line-level execution meets and exceeds expectations. The ideal candidate will be a visible presence throughout the facility, modeling safety behaviors, coaching teams, and reinforcing accountability at every level.
This role is deeply embedded within the operations team and plays a critical part in shaping companywide safety initiatives and sustainability. Success in this position requires a proven ability to influence culture, foster ownership, and align leadership vision with day-to-day practices on the floor.
