About the role:
This is an entry-level position supporting experienced fire sprinkler fitters on active construction sites. You’ll learn the fundamentals of the fire sprinkler trade while performing hands-on physical work.
This job is physically demanding and involves working outdoors in all seasons. If you enjoy being active, learning a skilled trade, and seeing tangible results from your work each day, you’ll do well here.
We provide on-the-job training — no prior fire sprinkler experience required.
What You’ll Do
- Assist senior sprinkler fitters and foremen on construction projects
- Stage and organize materials for efficient installation
- Cut, thread, and assemble pipe under supervision
- Follow drawings and basic layout instructions
- Help test sprinkler systems after installation
- Lift, carry, and install piping, valves, and equipment
- Show up on time, ready to work, every day

- Minimal amount of power tool or construction abilities.
Construction or tool experience is a plus — not required.
Schedule & Travel
- Monday–Friday with overtime opportunities
- 8–10 hour shifts
- Some travel within the Tri-State area (occasional overnight stays)
Pay & Benefits
- $20–21/hr starting pay
- Overtime rates apply for any time worked past 40 hours in the work week.
