What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapist – Couples Focus position at Concord Family Counseling?
Concord Family Counseling | Brentwood, TN | Private Pay | Part-Time Contract
About the PracticeConcord Family Counseling is a private-pay group practice in Brentwood serving adolescents, couples, families, and young adults in Williamson County. We are a small, intentional team. We take clinical culture seriously, keep caseloads manageable, and do not operate on a volume model. The clinicians here are genuinely good at what they do, and we want to stay that way.
The RoleWe are looking for a therapist whose primary focus is couples work. This is not a position where couples are one item on a long list — it is the core of what we need. If you love sitting with two people who are struggling to find each other again, this is the right place.
You will also see individuals and families as part of a balanced caseload. Experience with adolescents and families is a plus.
Position details:
- 12–22 clinical hours per week
- $160 average session fee, 50/50 split
- In-person, Brentwood — afternoons and evenings preferred
- Weekly clinical consultation provided
- 1099 independent contractor
- Licensed or pre-licensed with a clear path to LPC-MHSP or LCSW in Tennessee
- Couples-specific training (Gottman, EFT, Prepare/Enrich, or similar) strongly preferred
- Experience beyond internship required
- Private-pay mindset — you care about quality of care, not volume of sessions
- Warm, relational clinical style that fits a family-centered practice
