Your Job Opportunity
Therapists provide individual and group counseling services consistent with professional standards, best practices and Concord’s policies.
•Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address substance use and mental health disorders
•Apply clinical expertise within a multidisciplinary care model
•Assess risk and respond to crisis situations during office hours
•Provide services in-person and via telehealth, based on client needs
•Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in an electronic medical record system
•Apply unique expertise and professional judgment in the application of Concord’s multidisciplinary approach to client treatment and peer supervision.
•Lead a once-a-week evening AOD group
Requirements
Qualifications Needed for Success for a Licensed Substance Use Disorder Therapist/Counselor
•Master’s degree in social work with license – either LSW or LPC required; LISW/LPCC/IMFT highly preferred. Experience providing therapy/counseling required.
• Ability to maintain thorough, timely, well documented treatment plans, case notes and intake summaries,
illustrating caseload measurable treatment progress in computerized medical records system.
• Must have working knowledge of mental illness, substance use disorders, psychiatric symptoms, and their impact on functioning and behavior of a diverse client population.
•Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
