What are the responsibilities and job description for the Millwork Specialist position at Concord Commercial Contracting?
We are seeking an experienced Millwork Specialist / Cabinet Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Lilburn, GA. This is a hands-on position in our millwork shop, producing high-quality commercial cabinetry, casegoods, and architectural millwork for hospitality projects throughout the United States.
Responsibilities
- Assemble commercial cabinets, casegoods, and custom millwork according to shop drawings.
- Safely operate common woodworking tools and equipment including table saws, miter saws, routers, drills, nail guns, sanders, and other shop machinery.
- Cut, laminate, edge band, and prepare materials for assembly.
- Install hardware including drawer slides, hinges, pulls, and other cabinet components.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and work orders.
- Ensure products meet company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with loading, packaging, and preparing finished products for shipment when needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in cabinet making, millwork, woodworking, or commercial furniture manufacturing.
- Experience assembling cabinets and architectural millwork.
- Comfortable using hand tools and power woodworking equipment.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Ability to read shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.

- CNC experience (a plus, but not required)
