Job Summary
C3 Concord Christian School is seeking compassionate, reliable School Drivers with behavioral support experience to safely transport students while providing structured behavioral assistance. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in behavior support, youth services, mental health, or education who are passionate about supporting students with emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs in a faith-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school, programs, and school-related activities
- Maintain a calm, structured, and supportive environment during transportation
- Implement basic behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques
- Follow individual behavior plans when applicable
- Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and supervisors regarding student needs or concerns
- Ensure compliance with all safety, school, and state transportation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the school vehicle
- Complete required documentation and incident reports as needed
Skills
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license with clean driving record
- Experience working with youth with behavioral challenges, emotional needs, or special needs
- Background in behavioral health, education, youth services, or related field preferred
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to Christian values and school mission
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Preferred (Not Required):
- Behavioral Technician (BT), RBT, or similar training
- CPI, de-escalation, or crisis intervention training
- Experience in school, residential, or therapeutic settings
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
