Concord Academy, an independent, co-educational boarding and day school renowned for its world-class faculty, passionate students, and graduates who make their mark on the world, seeks to fill a one-year 0.75 FTE opening for a Spanish (all levels) teacher in the Modern & Classical Languages department. Any candidate who can offer coursework in other languages as well (French, Latin, German, or Mandarin) is particularly welcome to apply.

The school seeks an experienced teacher to offer instruction in support of a strong and well-established language department. The position will work with the other teachers in the department to cover needed sections of Spanish across the curriculum. The candidate must be an innovative educator with excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated organizational ability, and a passion and enthusiasm for working with adolescents and supporting them in acquiring and achieving a high level of proficiency in their chosen language(s). They will value and seek out opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and engage with a diverse community. They will have a genuine enthusiasm for working with adolescents, curiosity about learning, a creative and open-minded approach to curriculum design and experimentation, and a commitment to professional and personal growth.
The school provides a competitive benefits package, and salary is commensurate with experience. All faculty members at Concord Academy participate fully in the life of the school; responsibilities include advising, serving on committees and/or clubs, and periodically providing an adult presence at school events. Coaching an athletic team is welcomed but not required and is remunerated separately. On-campus housing is not available for the 2026-27 year, but may be available in the future, and faculty members are not required to live at the school.
