The Corporate Accounting Manager plays a key leadership role within the Finance and Accounting team, supporting the Director of Accounting and Reporting in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, strengthening internal controls, and driving process improvements. This position is ideal for a detail oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and is ready to step into a key operational finance role.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- General Ledger Oversight: Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close activities.
- Internal Controls: Maintain and enhance internal control procedures. Support audit readiness and assist in coordination with external auditors during annual audits.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen financial systems.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor accounting staff. Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Sales, and other departments to support financial decision making and ensure accurate financial data.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Proficient with Netsuite ERP
- Advanced Excel skills, proficient in other Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff.

Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred).
- 4 – 7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including public accounting.
- Must be authorized to work within the United States;
- Physically submit to periodic drug, background and clearance screenings (employment is contingent upon favorable results)
