Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Assist patients with laundry, trash removal and housekeeping.
- Medication reminders.
Qualifications
- Valid CNA certification from an accredited program with current licensure in the state of employment
- Experience working in diverse healthcare settings including hospitals, long-term care (nursing homes, assisted living), or home health environments
- Prior experience with patient service tasks including vital signs monitoring.
- Ability to work effectively with all types of individuals: experience in dementia or Alzheimer's care is highly valued
- Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient-centered care; ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced setting is a must!
