What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant position at Concierge Primary Care?
Seeking a mature, reliable Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. Must have vast experience with phlebotomy. A family practice background is preferred. Candidate must also be people oriented and comfortable with all types of people and patients.
We are a concierge primary care practice and medspa. We are team oriented and pride ourselves on high patient and customer service satisfaction. Smoke Free Facility.
CMA's are expected to perform the following:
- Greeting patients
- Updating medical records
- Answering phones or email
- Scheduling appointments for patients, admissions, or laboratory services
- Filling out insurance paperwork
- Be familiar with medical terminology and coding.
On the clinical side, medical assistants will often:
- Prepare patients for examination.
- Assist the physician or nurse while an exam is going on.
- Conduct basic tests.
- Sterilize equipment.
- Draw blood.
- Change dressings or remove sutures.
- Assist with the administration of medication.
- Help with authorizing prescription refills.
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, will be determined based on certifications and experience. Additional compensation, employee discount, and paid time off offered.
