Concierge Pediatrics is a membership based practice that does not accept insurance. We pride ourselves on our low patient to doctor ratio; every appointment is scheduled for at least 30 minutes. At Concierge Pediatrics medical assistants are the patient face to our practice and involved in all aspects of the patient journey; appointments, administrative tasks, and medical treatment. We are a small practice that only has one medical assistant and one doctor in the office at a time.
Medical Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
- Helps patients by providing information, services, and assistance; via medical texting platform, phone, email, and patient portal
- Verifies patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.
- Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history summary.
- Saves doctors’ time by helping with office procedures.
- Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; and keeping patient information confidential.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
- Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards; facility policies and procedures; and federal, state, and local requirements.
- Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Medical procedures that are expected to be performed with competency: Capillary Collection, Biomedical Services, Data Entry, Venipuncture, Vitals, Urinalysis, Infection Control, Lab Equipment Terminology, Maintain Patient Confidentiality, Must be able to run Strep, Flu, Covid
Work Hours are flexible based on the candidate. However, office hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30-5pm, Friday 8:30-3 and Saturday 8:30-12. Potential hires must have multiple days available to cover the entire shift.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- 2 years in a medical office
- Experience with EMR (electronic medical records- eCW a bonus), medical terminology
- Previous experience in specific medical field preferred
- Non-medical related customer service experience
Pay: $19.00 - $30.00 per hour
