- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Use cleaning equipment and detergents effectively for floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface cleaning
- Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or appliances when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas by adhering to janitorial and custodial best practices
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and ensure satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles is preferred; outdoor work experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, and the use of various cleaning equipment and detergents
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
