Day Head Start Family Service Worker (FSW)
DAY HEAD START FAMILY SERVICE WORKER (FSW) REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a Child Development Associate Credential or an Associate Degree
- CPR and First Aid Certified (must be renewed every two years)
- Family Service Worker Credential (must be obtained within 18 months of employment in Family Service Worker role)
- Must have a valid Driver’s License or state-issued ID (In the absence of a valid driver’s license, employee must sign a CVCOG travel waiver)
The position of Head Start Family Service Worker recruits and enrolls children, coordinates services to children, families, and Pregnant Moms, and assists families in developing and implementing Family Partnership Agreements and completing health requirements/screenings. This position also assists families in identifying needs and accessing resources within the community to serve those needs, and is responsible for the development of community partnerships and providing transition services.
STATUS AND PAY:
Full-Time Position
Hourly: $15.38 – $22.32 Pay dependent on experience AND Education
Salary : $15 - $22
