What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Teller position at Concho Educators Federal Credit Union?
JOB TITLE:
Full-time Teller
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
- Maintaining cash drawing and handling cash transactions in Lobby and/or Drive-Thru areas
- Assist members with transactions such as cash/check deposits, cash/check withdrawals, accepting loan payments, transferring funds between accounts, issuing temporary checks, teller checks, issuing gift cards, issuing reloadable cards. Processing cash advances, etc.
- Assist in answering phones and delegating members to the proper department
- Perform some Member Service duties such as stop payments, wire transfers, auto transfers, etc.
- Rotating Saturday working schedule
- Fill in for other teller positions at other branches when necessary
- Attend teller meetings and weekly staff meetings, etc.
- May be required to help open lobby/drive-up areas in mornings; consisting of securing the building before other employees enter
- Perform other daily duties required in the teller line and other duties as necessary
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
General:
- Driver’s License
- Source of transportation to commute to each branch if needed
Educational:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; some college preferred
Experience:
- Some cash handling experience or other financial institution
Special Skills:
- Typing
- Ten-key
- Adding machine
- Cash handling
- Some computer skills required
- Interpersonal skills highly necessary
- Communication skills
- Must be flexible
Additional Knowledge:
· Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
