Job Description

We are looking for an experienced RPG Developer with strong expertise in IBM iSeries/AS400 application development and modernization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with modern iSeries technologies, including Integrated Web Services (IWS), APIs, and RPG SQL.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with RPG/RPGLE development
• Hands-on experience with RPG SQL
• Experience modernizing iSeries/AS400 systems
• Knowledge of Integrated Web Services (IWS) and API integration
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Experience debugging and resolving software defects
• Familiarity with Git or other version control tools
• Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing processes

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications
• Analyze business and technical requirements
• Write scalable and maintainable RPG code
• Participate in code reviews and testing activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
• Support continuous integration and deployment processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for application enhancements

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional programming languages is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience in enterprise application support and modernization initiatives
