Job Description
A Day In The Life:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned ServiceNow modules and capabilities, supporting both business and technical teams
- Gather, define, and document business requirements, translating them into user stories and functional specifications
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business needs and platform strategy
- Partner with developers and administrators to support the design, configuration, and enhancement of ServiceNow applications (ITSM, HR, Project Management, CMDB, etc.)
- Participate in sprint planning, testing, and release activities to ensure high-quality delivery of features and enhancements
- Support platform governance by ensuring configurations follow best practices and align with established standards
- Monitor platform performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Assist in troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolutions with technical teams
- Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts to support adoption and usability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions are aligned with business processes and deliver expected outcomes
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience working with ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms
- ServiceNow certifications are a plus
- Experience supporting or configuring ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HR, Project Management, or CMDB
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, backlog management, and product ownership principles
- Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and user stories
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow flows, integrations, and scripting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
- Travel: Up to 10% as needed
